Linda graduated from North Branch High School class of 1973. She graduated from Olivet College in 1977. After deciding she needed a more fulfilling career, she entered MSU and graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She practiced veterinary medicine for over 30 years starting at South Sanilac Veterinary Hospital where she cared for any critter brought in for her healing touch. She retired in 2015 and was later coaxed out of retirement to work part time at Town and Country Animal Care Inc. of Marlette. She also had a gift for growing beautiful flowers and arranging them in vases for many occasions in the family. She worked part time at Flower Basket where she continued this passion.Linda always made time for family and took exceptional care of her many nieces and nephews.Linda was and expert quilter. Her quilts were works of art and she freely shared them with family and friends for special occasions such as graduations, anniversaries, and births. She also made quilts for Hospice. She was a member of the Thumb Thimble Quilting Guild of Kingston, Michigan. She always looked forward to the month’s new block and sharing finished quilts and seeing the quilts of fellow members.She was also an avid collector of many items including; vases, Snow Babies, peacock items, vintage hats and purses, whimsical animal planters, sunflower items, teddy bears, ornaments, and her favorite Border Collie items.Linda is survived by her three brothers, Doug (Florence) of North Branch, Frank Jr. (Brenda) of Lapeer, Jack (Deb) of North Branch; 11 nieces and nephews; and 15 great-nieces and nephews; and the love of her life and soul mate Bill Brossmann; special friends, Sue Houpt of Reed City, Sharon and Ed Davids of Battle Creek, and Linda Bolen and family of Arizona.Linda was preceded in death by her father, Frank Gyomory, Sr. and mother, Clara Jean (Baldwin) Gyomory; and infant niece, Anne Lydia Gyomory.Contributions in honor of Linda may be made to White Fields World Ministries, Blue Water Area Humane Society, American Heart Associati...
